Cindy Hing

Cindy Hing, a longtime South Florida resident, is the Host and Executive Producer of “Day Tripping in The Palm Beaches” and co-owner of Jetsetter Films.

Before her time at Jetsetter Films, Hing was a Producer at WPBT2 South Florida PBS, where she worked on the travelogue show “On the Town in The Palm Beaches with Frank Licari,” earning an Emmy nomination in 2019.

Hing's career in television began with internships at South Florida stations WPLG, WFOR, WSVN, WPBT2, and WTVJ. She also worked as a freelance reporter for the Brickell Reporter and spent time at Y-100 and NewsRadio 610 WIOD.

Hing graduated from Florida International University in Miami with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication in 2013. She also studied at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where she won Best Television Portfolio in 2009. In 2017-2018, she participated in the Leadership Fellows Program of the Lillian Lodge Kopenhaver Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication at FIU.

Born in Georgetown, Guyana, Hing has a unique look due to her Chinese-Indian background. She began her career as a real estate paralegal in Fort Lauderdale.
